Art Squared Silent Auction Fundraiser, October 4-October 27

During the month of October the Steelville Arts Council is having a fun and exciting Art Squared fundraiser at Gallery Zeke, 106 E. Main St.  Through the generosity of many of our visiting plein air artists and other artists from the area, we will have 50 wonderfully painted, drawn, and crafted works all done on “square” watercolor and pastel paper, canvases, panels and more.  Here is how it works!  During the month of October, during regular gallery hours, patrons come in to view and bid on the art works displayed with silent auction bid sheets under each piece.  The fundraiser will start October 4th with a closing reception and final bids on October 27 from 4:00 – 8:00.

Join Us on October 27th for this fun and exciting closing reception! That evening there will be hot soup and bread to share with other snacks and drinks as well!  Share in the excitement of the final rounds of bidding! The announcement of the winning bids will be at 8:00 PM.

You can check out more information and updates under the event on Gallery Zeke’s

Facebook page.  You may check on your bid by calling the gallery during regular hours:  Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.  Please have the number of the artwork and artist’s name you are bidding on.  The Gallery number is 573-775-1000.

Check often, bid big, and win!  The Steelville Arts Council thanks you so much for helping us promote the “Arts” within our community!

As a non-profit organization, the Steelville Arts Council relies on membership dues, donations and fundraisers to help support our mission.  Our vibrant organization conducts many projects and events including Art in the Park, a plein air paint, field trips from high school art classes to the gallery, art workshops, college student internships, and an Artist in Residence program.  Our mission is to promote the “Arts” in our community through awareness, appreciation, education and support; creating a connection between artists and audiences to enrich the quality of life for all.
